Thank you for the answer. I use a netbook at home (ubuntu newtbook remix) and WICD is my tool for wifi connections on it. My computer at the office is on Ubuntu 9.1, tried both computers with network manager and WICD. Now at the office I use network manager without any more luck. I also tried to install the beta version. At one time I was able to connect then all blocked. Since then I have tried Dropbox and found it perfectly easy and simple, no bug at all on the 4 computers I tried.
Frankly, I have probably spent 8 hourson this, I will just wait for the next ubuntu version, maybe it will be ok. I do not want to lose any more time on it since I have a very nice solution now and the rest of Ubuntu is perfect for me. Dropbox worked like a charm without any problem. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/508486 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
