As a matter of fact, I realise that I haven't describe precisely the symptoms of the crash (boom is not exactly the most accurate way of expressing it). The crash happen while trying to resume from a 2nd suspend. When pressing the power button 1/ the lid switch from SUSPENDED back to ON 2/ the fan starts 3/ the disk spins 4/ and that's all: nothing more happens. especially, the screen stays black At this stage, the only solution for me is to brutally poweroff the computer by keeping-on pressing the power button for a few seconds. I've tried to: - restart the X11 sever by pressing crtl/alt/bckspce => nothing - acting as if only the screen was back and thereafter simulate a blind login, then reboot => nothing - switching to a no-graphic consol to login as root and reboot => nothing - login remotely through ssh from an other computer => no route to host What could I do more to help you?
