Creando un nuovo pannello, posizionandolo sotto al pannello principale (dove
c'è il menu, orologio etc etc) di gnome e impostando l'auto nascondimento,
subito dopo l'ok non appena la barra si nasconde il sistema va in palla. Unica
soluzione, riavviare non serve a nulla, è ripristinare le impostazioni di
default di gnome-panel con il comando gconftool-2 --recursive-unset
/apps/panel.
Ho provato con un altro computer sempre con ubuntu 9.10 e il problema rimane.

Cuando creo una nueva barra en la parte de arriba de la pantalla, abajo de la
barra principal (donde està el menu de gnome) y pongo Auto-hide, el sistema no
responde mas.
La unica solucion para arreglar (tampoco arrancando de nuevo la maquina se
arregla) es gconftool-2 --recursive-unset /apps/panel asì que vuelve como en
principio y todo funciona bien. He probado ya en otras maquinas y el rollo se
repite
