Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: zip

My first bug report. Sorry in advance if I include irrelevant info.

While attempting to retrieve data from an hfs+ volume (the hdd of a
friend whose Mac just died) I mounted a new ext2-formatted backup drive
as /mnt/1 and mounted the hfs+ volume as /mnt/2. I cd to
/mnt/2/Users/frankmullin/ and issue the command as follows:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~# zip -0r /mnt/1/backup.zip *

This caused an out of memory error. (My laptop has only 512MB RAM and
the directory contained 60 GB of files.) Not sure if other system info
such as /proc/cpuinfo and /proc/meminfo are relevant, but here you go:
