Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

When I open openoffice.org writer, the display comes grey and I can see
only the frames of program. When I compell to close it, it closes.
Second time opening it, it asks if I want to recover the file. If I
admit, it does not work proberly and opens only part of it's display. If
I cancel the recover-process, it will open normally. My computer is core
2 qutro PC, and distro Ubuntu 9.10.
