Thank you for reporting this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.
These errors are not a bug in Synaptic.

GPG Errors:
gpg keys are used by apt to verify that there was no corruption or modification 
of the package lists while you downloaded them.
Please run
sudo apt-key adv --recv-key --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com 0B43C851B1572604
and
sudo apt-key adv --recv-key --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com 638ABCA0FA3A1271
to get rid of them.

About the last error: 404 means that the file thas synaptic wanted to
download didn't exists. This could be caused by a broken connection or a
bug in launchpad. Please try to update your package list again and see
if this still happens. Thanks again!
