Just one question - I presume by "reproducing this issue..." you mean a complete fresh install of Ubuntu 9.10 and if there is still the same error, proceed with edit the files using Terminal /Desktop as stated in your reply? A fresh install is not a problem, just checking as I am a newbie to Linux and don't know of any other way to reproduce this issue. Thank you again.
