Thank you for taking the time to file this bug report. Unfortunately, I
was unable to reproduce your bug on my machine (Ubuntu 9.10, 64-bit).
When I installed Elmer using the Software Center, I received a
configuration menu for Elmer when the install first began (which is at
the 50% mark; the first 50% is downloading the software, the second 50%
is installing). My guess is that your machine had trouble loading this
configuration menu, which was most likely a one-time issue since I have
not been able to find anyone else having this problem. Since there is
not enough information to submit this report to developers, I am going
to mark this bug as "invalid." If you are able, then you can remove
Elmer using the Software Center and attempt to install it again to see
if you get the same issue. If you get the problem again, please feel
free to change the status of this bug back to "new" so it can be
investigated further.
I'm glad you were able to get the program to work, and thanks for
letting us know about this potential problem!
