Binary package hint: thunderbird
thunderbird loads and goes full screen, then starts to download mail and
then vanishes from screen. If you restart thunderbird it repeats this
behaviour. If you can click a menu while itś still on the screen it
stays and works normally.
You are using Ubuntu 9.10 - the Karmic Koala - released in October 2009
and supported until April 2011.
