NOT fixed in Karmic. Still have to boot first in Windows (to load 
Qualcomm firmware) and then restart in 9.10 Karmic to bring up broadband 
wireless network. My 9.10 system is up-to-date fix wise. Hopefully this 
will be fixed in time for the new release 10.04. See my thread in Ubuntu
