This looks like a DBUS or DeviceKit issue. It was a while ago, but if it's
still an issue, could you please reproduce it (battery warning when on ac
power) then open a terminal and provide the output of the following command
(all in one line):
$ dbus-send --system --print-reply --type=method_call
--dest=org.freedesktop.DeviceKit.Power /org/freedesktop/DeviceKit/Power
org.freedesktop.DBus.Properties.Get string:"org.freedesktop.DeviceKit.Power"
string:"on_battery"
