Hi,
I'm sorry to hear Ubuntu One isn't working properly for you. I believe
this is related to bug 488413. Can you try the following and let me know
if the problem goes away for you?
1. System->Administration->Software Sources
2. Click on the Updates tab
3. Check "Proposed updates (karmic-proposed)"
4. Close the dialog
5. Refresh when prompted
6. System->Administration->Synaptic Package Manager
7. Search for "ubuntuone" and mark for upgrade
8. Click the "Apply" button
9. Restart the Ubuntu One client
