I've just started to encounter the issue with my Dell M1530. `lshal` reports four different kill switch states with the Dell ones being possibly in conflict with the other two statues. A quick work around for me was to `rmmod dell_laptop` module after which the kill switch starts functioning as normal.
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=544217 sounds quite similar. I'll have to have a play around a bit more to see if it's the same issue. I wonder if this modules has been enabled in a recent Kernel update? ** Bug watch added: Debian Bug tracker #544217 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=544217 -- Karmic Upgrade Networkmanager No Longer Has Wireless https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/482721 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
