Thanks for the information. After downloading the branch, I have been able to produce the english pdf with Debian dblatex 0.2.12-3 out of the box without any problems, e.g. the images are embedded into the pdf:
./make_docbook instructor cd build/xml/en/ dblatex desktop-course-book.xml Your adaptions work, too: dblatex -p ../../../lib/dblatex.xsl desktop-course-book.xml (Note that there are problems left with russian respectively romanian: one has to use dblatex with the XeTeX backend, and I have just discovered that the DocBook <caution> elements you use break with TeX Live 2009 XeTeX — this will be fixed soon.) I'm not able to try it with Ubuntu dblatex version 0.2.12-2, since I have Debian installed here and already have migrated to TeX Live 2009. But it should work with a recent Ubuntu version, too. Which toolchain (FOP or dblatex) produces prettier results is a matter of taste of course… Anyway, if someone could retest on Ubuntu officially and close this report when indicated, this would be fine. -- Fails to compile validated XML https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/156357 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
