I seem to be having a similar problem. The bug already reported seems to
indicate that they are actively using a network share as part of their
library.
I use my laptop (Ubuntu 9.10) at work where it picks up one of my boss'
daughter's music shares. It doesn't connect to the share. I shut it down
after work and will start it back up while connected to a different
network. If I start up Rhythmbox again, it immediately freezes and the
process has to be killed manually. This only ever happens when I've
previously been on that network with the share.
