Kubuntu has no plans to use PA by default in 10.04, so the resolution in
this case is to revert my addition to the kubuntu-common seed. In this
way, the behavior returns to that in 9.10:
kubuntu-desktop user installs ubuntu-desktop and forcibly gets pulseaudio;
ubuntu-desktop user installs kubuntu-desktop and nothing changes.
Using libsdl1.2debian-all is not a solution, because it requires setting
an environment variable globally, and there is no way to tell if someone
with it installed actually wants to use the PA or ALSA backend.
