I agree to this bug! 
There are several ways to make the iwlagn module crash:

* put the wireless under high load (file copy in local network)
* use USB (maybe use usb-creator) while beeing online with iwlagn.

I tried using linux-backport-modules with no change.

I even tried kernel boot options: pci=acpi & clocksource=jiffies
The later makes throughput of usb a whole lot faster 15MB/s instead of 6MB/s, 
but crashes of iwlagn still persist ;(
