Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: portmap

In Ubuntu 7.04 alpha 2.6.20-6 kernel, I cannot mount NFS shares. When I
try to mount a known working share, I get:

"mount: 10.0.0.1:/pbd: can't read superblock"

I believe the problem lies in portmap because when trying to stop or
restart portmap, it takes an extremely long time. I've also tried to
reinstall portmap from synaptic and it took a very long time to return
as well, and it did not solve the problem.

I dual boot with Ubuntu 6.10 and I do not have the problem in 6.10, only
7.04 alpha.

** Affects: portmap (Ubuntu)
