Public bug reported:
With
xserver-xorg-core 1.1.1-0ubuntu1
xserver-xorg-video-sis 0.9.1-0ubuntu1
and
Option "AccelMethod" "EXA"
on xorg.conf, I get this error on the X log:
(EE) EXA(0): driver's EXA version requirements (0.0) are incompatible
with EXA version (2.0)
Although it is not fatal some operations like text scrolling or window
movement are extremely slow under this setting. I reverted to not using
EXA for the moment. Yet I've used it since it was available in Xorg 6.9
and it was always faster than XAA. Now XAA seems to be a bit better
so...
The interesting thing is that a recently checked out sis driver from
fd.org's git repo works fine... I'll investigate a bit more and report
what I find. For the moment this bug can stay as is for reference.
