Public bug reported:
Several times, and not consistently, when I boot up Ubuntu 9.10 or Linux
Mint 8 there is a gap on the panel where the Network Manager should be.
I have to press alt PRTSC K or reboot to get it back.
I use Mobile Broadband, whether or not that is relevant, but the dongle
isn't connected then, and the same thing has happened with my 2-year-old
Toshiba laptop, my Acer Aspire One and my Fujitsu desktop pc from 1999.
If you need to know anything else can you please keep the jargon down.
Thanks.
