I was looking at your logs and i noticed something that might help your 
performance. There is a bug 455544 now that setting the bandwidth preferences 
to the defaults (clicking on the checkboxes and not changing the values) 
results in the read and write limits to be set to -1. The workaround is to 
delete the ~/.config/ubuntuone/syncdaemon.conf, restart the client, and don't 
set the bandwidth settings to the defaults.

In your case that would mean do the above steps but this time set the
read_limit to something other than 0. Sorry you have to take this extra
step the Ubuntu One team is working hard to fix this bug.
