I have installed Ubuntu 9.10 on a Toshiba 1800 C1100 - PS183C-00VF1P ...
after running very slowly because of some videocard driver problems
(TRIDENT)... I decided to restart it and now it won't boot and I get the
EXACT same error!

It cannot be a coincidence... I am going nuts as this is not my laptop
and it never even crossed my mind that installing Ubuntu for the 1000th
time, the bios of a laptop could actually start failing!

I wonder if "IVAN" was able to find a fix for this!
