Clean install on a new hard drive. 9.10 installed and booted clean. Update manager announced upgrades, which I approved and left to work.
Received a message about replacing grub - I opted to view the difference(s). That was a waste of time - one was 4 and the other was 5 - and that was all. Out of that and attempted to install per package manager - crash bang - booted okay - will probably run update manager after a reboot and see what happens. -- package grub-pc 1.97~beta4-1ubuntu4 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/486787 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
