Adegoodyer. Thinking it could be of help I've decided to run 'apport-collect 507555'. It all seemed Ok but in the end it warned me that I was not the reporter of this bug. I am not sure if any of my info got to you but I am more than willing to give a hand. As previously stated I have the same laptop and identical problem to RobertH.
