Thanks for your email. I entered the command (lspci) and have attached the output in lspci.txt. I don't see any reference to either DVD drive. I have enclosed a screen shot of the file browser that shows the drives. I have 2 DVD optical drives. One is a DVD-RW and the other is an old DVD ROM. If I place a DVD in the -RW drive, ubuntu mounts and a get an icon on the desktop. If I place a DVD in the ROM drive, nothing happens. I can, however, rip the DVD in both drives via AcidRip.
