Hi,
I don't believe this bug is invalid as I'm still getting exactly the same
problem on a fresh and updated install of Karmic 9.10 32bit. I've tried both
mplayer from the Ubuntu repos and also a more up-to-date version from a
3rd-party repo. Running mplayer in terminal still gives:
i...@coolermaster:~$ mplayer
mplayer: symbol lookup error: mplayer: undefined symbol: codec_wav_tags
i...@coolermaster:~$
I don't have libavcodec-extra-52 on my system, I still have the standard
Ubuntu libavcodec52 installed.
