Public bug reported:
After upgrading my wireless card wasn't able to connect to my AP,
in fact it couldn't even "iwlist" it.
The reason was that the AP sat on channel 13 which is allowed in Europe but not
in the US.
After adding

options ath_pci countrycode=276
</snip>
to /etc/modprobe.d/options everything worked again.
