Sorry you are still experiencing this problem.
what version of ubuntuone-client are you running. The one in karmic-proposed
repository has added a lot of fixes.
Open a Terminal ( Applications > Accesories > Terminal) and run the following:
dpkg -l ubuntuone-client
if you have ubuntuclient 1.0.2 there is a newer one you can install. See
