Sorry you are still experiencing problems. I am glad you like the service. The
Ubuntu One developers are working very hard to fix these few issues. When
deleting and restarting Ubuntu One did you also turn off bandwidth throttling,
or set the values to something other than 0. You can access this setting by
R-click on the applet in the panel and selecting preferences.
Also there is a newer version of Ubuntu One available that has fixed
many bugs. You can install the newer client by adding the Ubuntu One
PPA. That can be accomplished by opening a Terminal (Applications >
Accesories > Terminal) and running the following command:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntuone/stable && sudo apt-get update &&
sudo apt-get upgrade
