I am new to linux. i too have a similar problem. the only thing i could understand from this is old proxy settings are saved in '/etc/apt/apt.conf.' but i don't know how to find this location. But i tried one thing, i opened home folder and removed /home from the box 'Go To' and pasted the above address but i got nothing. it says file not found
