Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: software-center
software-center 1.1.10
Back when software-center was called software-store the decision was
made to use the terminology 'departments' to split the available
software into categories. When using the store metaphor this makes
perfect sense. However since it is now a centre I feel that the more
commonly used terminology 'categories' or perhaps 'sections' would make
more sense.
(It may however be good to remove the title bar with the text
'departments' altogether. The eventual scope would of course require the
title bar to be reinstated, but for the lucid cycle the title just looks
a bit out of place and doesn't give you any extra information.)
** Affects: software-center (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
