This is a critical problem for anyone who is synchronizing Evolution. Because timezones are not supported correctly SyncEvolution is now sending TZIDs like this:
DTSTART;TZID=Z:20100123T120000^M Z ? The end result is that people are getting their Evolution calendar data corrupted. The only solution to this problem currently is to uninstall the SyncEvolution as provided by Ubuntu and install the package provided by syncevolution.org. (To remove from Ubuntu) 1. sudo apt-get remove syncevolution 2. sudo apt-get remove libsynthesis0 Please increase the priority on this bug. Thanks. -- timezone support: use libical (build-dependency) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/509032 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
