Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: synaptic
I activated compositing with fglrx 8.33.6 -> restarted X -> got mesa
driver -> tried to launch settings/desktop-effects -> start -> crash
"does not work" or so -> deactivated compositing -> restarted X -> did a
few clicks -> then I saw the notification "a crash has happened" -> now
I am submitting.
Sorry, I am still wondering what the cause was. I closed synaptic long
before the things I mentioned above, but there was no abnormal behavior
I can recall
