I have a Karmaic system that conflicts with mountall and fsck as well. I
have a data drive that is 500GB mounted to /media/Videos. Recently after
a reboot the system wanted to fsck the data drive. The first part of the
check according to the progress bar completed quickly, but the last few
progress ticks would not seem to complete after 2 hours. I logged in to
find Mountall running at 70% cpu while fsck was running at 20%.
Obviously fsck is trying to do something cpu intensive in it's check and
mountall seems to be stealing all it's resources. I killed mountall and
fsck jumped to 100%. There is some conflict present here in this
scenario.

Filesystem check failed, I tried to fix it with fsck, but I get this every time
I reboot.
