Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
I am running Ubuntu 9.10 32bit on an Acer Aspire One D150 netbook.
I intalled the kernel 2.6.32-11-generic and when I boot from this kernel
I have the following unexpected behavior:
- Power management preferences only show two tabs: "On AC Power" and "General",
and no "On battery"
- acpi -a works fine, that is, "acpi -a" tells me whether I am running on
battery or on AC
And sometimes when I boot I get the following behavior, but sometimes not.
- Power history does not show the "Laptop battery" tab.
- The Power Manager icon in the panel tells me I am running on AC power when I
am actually running on battery.
