Thank you for reporting this bug. I can confirm this corruption. It
happens on the root partition when formatted using ext4. It does not
happen on other partitions, and does not happen to those partitions
formatted using ext3.
I am not sure lshw is the correct package, but I am unsure what will be
correct.
