Here's how to do to get this DVB-T board to work. Download the attached firmware, open your terminal and execute:
tar xvjf xc3028-v27.fw.tar.bz2 sudo cp xc3028-v27.fw /lib/firmware/ sudo apt-get install vlc win32codecs libdvdcss2 Restart your computer. Generate a channels.conf file from v4l-dvb (see linuxtv.org for details), open VLC, open channels.conf, open the playlist (Ctrl-L), and you'll see your list of channels.
