@Pepe - in the meantime, our dimension 2350 has gone from spare/test station to production workstation (30 days uptime, as of today, in hardy), so sorry, at this time we are unable to do tests on the D2350 that would require downtime (no, an in-place upgrade to karmic is not an option for us). I am guessing that apport-collect on hardy would not be useful here, but tell me if in fact you would like me to run that on hardy.
