Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: grub2
I am running Lucid Alpha 2. When I ran update-manager this evening
(2/3) the screen for choosing the drives on which to install grub2 came
up, with the warning that if you don't know, it is better to choose all
of them. I did not know exactly where on the sda drive grub was
supposed to go, so I selected all of the sda options. Then the grub-pc
configuration hung.
I expected grub-pc to install grub where I told it to. It had to be
killed with a force-quit.
grub-pc is version 1.98-20100128-1u
