Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: parted

Lucid alpha 2 live installer ("Try Ubuntu" then doubleclick on the
"Install Ubuntu 10.04" icon) on a disk that already has a /boot and
several other partitions from previous installs.

I use manual partitioning because I want to re-use one of the existing root
partitions.
I choose a root partition, then set the existing /dev/sda1 filesystem as
/boot, ext2 and click Next.

I get a dialog that says:

File system has an incompatible feature enabled. Compatible features
are has_journal, dir_index, filetype, sparse_super and large_file. Use
tune2fs or debugfs to remove features.

No hints about what the incompatible feature is (but apparently it's ext_attr).
I'm fairly sure this ext2 partition was created with an earlier Ubuntu
installer, probably Hardy, Intrepid or Jaunty.

** Affects: parted (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
