I work with the Atheros AR928X adapter and the Ath9k driver on an Acer Extensa
5230 laptop.
Ik had no problems in connecting tot the internet from Hardy up to Jaunty.
With Karmic (the 2.6.31.17 generic kernel) the connection dropped in strength
(with 20dB) after about a minute.
I resolved that problem by using the 2.6.31.17 generic-pae kernel. No problems
there.
With the new kernels: 2.6.31.19 generic and 2.6.31.19 generic-pae the problem
is back.

I went back to the .17 generic-pae kernel; still no problem there.

I don´t understand why in the new kernels the problem is back, after it
had been solved in the .17 generic-pae and after many complaints about
the problem. It can´t be that difficult to solve this again, I suppose??
