Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: sun-java6-doc

Hi,

I believe i got this message while trying to install sun-java6-doc
(6-14-0ubuntu1.8.10) package that it is not installed and must be copied from
somewhere to somewhere.
I want to check how to know the list of the all the installed packages using
command-line or terminal?
Also, I know there are some very good Linux tutorials available but wanted to
check if priming Unix is a good start or I can jump Linux (then Ubuntu)
directly?
Thanks
Arun
