Public bug reported:
Ubuntu Feisty Fawn "does" automatically recognize the wide screen
resolution of 1280x800 but the display still appears to be stretched.
855resolution still needs to be run manually and xorg.conf needs to be
updated manually to get this working.
Specifics:
Dell 700m, Intel 855GM graphics chipset, resolution 1280x800
This is a simple task for experience users but definitely a chore for newbies.
