I too am not able to get any sound out my audio devices on my Dell Studio XPS
laptop with Intel Core i7.
Audio Device : Integrated CREATIVE Sound Blaster(R) X-Fi MB Audio
i tried "sudo alsa force-reload" but i get the following warning message
and then nothing happens.
