No idea what exactly happened or what I did to trigger it. All I did was
boot from the Ubuntu 9.10 i386 Live CD on a Dell Dimension 5000 system
in order to copy data to a new harddisk en try to salvage a broken 8.10
installation. I was in the middle of this when I noticed the crash
report icon in the tasktray. I figured it would be best to submit the
crash report, in the hopes of helping out...
