Thanks for you answer and sorry for the delay of my answer. I had to change the 
hard disk to create a new report on Ubuntu 9.10 and I was really busy in the 
last two month. 

@Daniel T Chen:
You will find these information above. These are from Ubuntu 9.10.

@WeatherGod :
Since I did a new installation on a blank hard disk only the following two 
hints may change the situation, right?

1. Install linux-backports-modules-alsa-karmic-generic' package and then
rebooting.

2. Uninstalling this package sl-modem-daemon

ad 1)
I will try the next days

ad 2)
The package "sl-modem-daemon" has not been installed. I have verified that 
there's not startskript in /etc/init.d/, too.
