Public bug reported:
I've already installed ubuntu 9.10 because I was using 9.04 and tryng to use it
as audio platform.
With 9.04 I've installed real-time kernel and all audio tools but jackd was not
working
As soon I run it the server stays u for 20-30 secs without any problem... maybe
just one XRUN and then a watchdog timeout
kill the application that becmaue greyed and so I had to kill it from monitor
system window.
I guess the problem was with my audio card that is an integrated one inmy amilo
pc.
So I tried to install 9.10 removing completely 9.04 but first message I get was
that system could be instable
andproblem was in the audio card realtek...
the details should have been sent in bug.
let me know if you culd fix the problem or if I could help you making some
tests.
Or if a previous version of ubuntu has not this issue.
thanks
Roberto
