Public bug reported:
ultimate edition 2.4 gamers gives choice between gnome and kde.
Everything OK under gnome but under kde the keyboard simply ceases to exist,but
when I then activate Opera browser the keyboard works.
Beats me what's going on, just being curious because I am equally happy
working with gnome so there is no urgency or not even a need to fix it, but
having
used many distros, this is the first time I ever saw this happen.
Thanks to everybody who takes the trouble to explain this or to point me towards
a solution somewhere on the web.
