UPDATE: Since the new kernel didn't show up in the grub boot menu I tried to do update-grub by hand. It was worse.
update-grub insists in maintaining a menu.lst and seems to ignore whatever is in the /etc/grub.d directory. Now, my grub boot menu only has two kernels and the other OSses that are in the disk (Windows & Ubuntu 9.10 32bit) were ignored. Maybe the new update-grub is not from the grub2...? -- package linux-image-2.6.31-19-generic 2.6.31-19.56 failed to install/upgrade: subprocesso instalado o programa post-installation retornou erro do status de saída 1 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/517525 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
