Same thing with lucid 64bit 20100209 iso (booted from hd via loopback with
grub2).
This time I know I did nothing before it crashed. An audio CD was in the drive
since before boot.

does not go well together with the fact that the other page does tell me: "Not
allowed here"
plus:
First it made the report private, then public. All for good reason, I hope, but
launchpad might tell more about those reasons. Especially the private to public
move could easily be supplemented with a comment about the reason, it seems.
